Theft of welding machine investigated

State police at Lehighton are investigating the theft of a welding machine in Carbon County.

A resident of the 1600 area of Bensalem Road, East Penn Township said a black and silver Craftsman 2/20 welding machine was removed from an open tractor shed on his property. The theft was reported at 9 a.m. Monday.
