'We Sing Weekend' at Stroud Mall

"We Sing Weekend," is a multigenerational community sing-along for young or old. We all have a voice. Singing is something we all can do in our own way. And, it is something we can all do together.

The event will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Stroud Mall Food Court in Stroudsburg. No rehearsal is necessary.

Groups of children and adults are visiting senior living communities for old-fashioned sing-alongs on Friday and Saturday. After the small sing-alongs, all of the participants in the small "Sings" are invited to converge at Stroud Mall for a "Great Big Sing." Song sheets will be provided.

To sign up, email Gary Raish at garyraish@hotmail.com. Small sing-alongs are scheduled for various times and locations. Group sizes vary by senior facility.

Community partners include The Queen's Treasures, Stroud Mall, Monroe County Area Agency on Aging, Pocono Services for Families & Children, Pocono Arts Council and volunteer community musicians.
