'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown'

Star of the Day Productions LLC. has announced auditions for its upcoming family series production of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown," March 18-20.

Auditions will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 25, and from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 26, with callbacks at 6 p.m. Jan. 27.

Auditions and rehearsals will be at St. John's UCC, 139 N. Fourth St., Emmaus, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Not all actors will be required at all rehearsals. Performances will be at McCoole's Arts & Events Place in Quakertown.

The producers are looking for young performers who sing, dance and act, and who are ages 7-25.

The cast includes:

• Charlie Brown: male, considering ages 12-20

• Sally Brown: female, considering ages 12-20

• Lucy Van Pelt: female, considering ages 12-20

• Snoopy: male or female, considering all ages

• Schroeder: male, considering ages 12-20

• Linus Van Pelt: male, considering all ages

• Peppermint Patty: female, considering all ages

• Little Red-Haired Girl: female, considering all ages

• Freida: female, considering all ages

• Woodstock: male or female, considering ages 7-12

• Pig Pen: male, considering all ages

• Ensemble: Looking to cast nine to 11 ensemble members.

To audition, choose one of the songs from the audition page at www.staroftheday.org/auditions.html, as well as download and complete the registration form to help save time at auditions. Music must be memorized. Be prepared to tell a funny story that happened to you at school. Be prepared to learn a short dance combination.
