Performance of 'Pints, Pounds & Pilgrims'

Published January 21. 2016 04:00PM

The Crowded Kitchen Players present “Pints, Pounds & Pilgrims” next month in two locations.

In this comedy, a manic English stage director feverishly rehearses his long suffering cast in an original Irish tragedy, “A Bad Year for Potatoes,” intended as the headlining event of an arts festival on the remote island of Inishbofin.

Meanwhile, a struggling American dinner theater mistakenly believes it has been invited to perform its original bedroom farce, “Undressed for Dinner,” at the same festival.

Directed by Ara Barlieb, the cast includes Susan Burnett, Dan Ferry, Paula Klein, Brian McDermott, David ‘Oz” Oswald, James Propst, Alexandra Racines, Steven Rosenbloom, Patti Squire, Michael Thew, Sarah Thomas, Scott VanNortwick, Pamela Wallace and Brian Wendt.

Stage manager is Steven Rosenbloom.

Show time at the Charles Brown Ice House, 56 River St., Bethlehem, is 8 p.m. Feb. 5, 6, 12 and 13; and 2 p.m. Feb. 7 and 14.

Show time at The Unicorn Theatre, 417 Front St., Catasauqua, is 8 p.m. Feb. 19 and 20; and 2 p.m. Feb. 21.
