Car leaves road, strikes ditch
Michael D. Reitz, 25, of Palmerton, was uninjured when a car he was driving hit an ice patch in the road, went out of control and struck a ditch at 6:37 a.m. Jan. 11.
State police at the Lehighton barracks said the crash happened along Hahns Dairy Road in Lower Towamensing Township. Police said Reitz was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier eastbound when the incident took place.
