Kunkletown woman hurt in crash

Heidi F. Unterberg, 42, of Kunkletown, sustained minor injuries in a one-car crash at 12:21 p.m. Jan. 9 on Lower Middle Creek Road in Polk Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said she was driving a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe westbound when it left the roadway, sideswiped a utility pole and struck a tree.

Police said she was taken to the Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg for treatment of injuries.
