Theft incidents at Mahoning Walmart

Mahoning Township Police have reported a pair of thefts from the Walmart in Mahoning Township.

At 7:37 p.m. Jan. 4, police were dispatched to Walmart for a retail theft, Taken was $184.61 in merchandise.

Howard Zellner, 31, of Lehighton, has been charged with retail theft in that incident.

At 2:20 p.m. Dec. 24, police were dispatched to Walmart for another retail theft, totaliing $320.16 in merchandise.

Amber Fatzinger, 52, of Palmerton, has been charged with retail theft in that incident.

Both preliminary hearings are scheduled for Feb. 24.
