McAdoo man jailed for Rush theft
A McAdoo man was lodged in the Schuylkill County prison in Pottsville on Jan. 24 after a retail theft incident in Hometown.
Joshua Gundry, 27, took merchandise valued at $472.28 from the HT Commons Walmart at 7:53 p.m. He was caught and arraigned before on-call District Judge David Rossi, Tremont, on charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property.
The judge imposed a bail of $5,000 straight cash, which Gundry was unable to post.
Rush Township police were assisted by McAdoo police in the arrest.
