Palmerton Police Department reports the following incidents:

Drug paraphernalia

Charges were filed against Savannah Sommer, 19, of Palmerton, and Travis Evans, 19, of Palmerton. Both were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, harassment and disorderly conduct. The incident occurred on Dec. 17 in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.

Criminal charges were filed against Theron Jones, 19, of Palmerton, for flight to avoid apprehension, loitering and prowling at night, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and defiant trespass. The incident occurred on Dec. 15 in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.

Criminal charges were filed against Ronald Getter, 21, of Walnutport, for DUI, possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence, careless driving, speeding and unlawful activities. The incident occurred on Nov. 15 on Route 248 east.

Retail theft

Anthony Shetrompf, 21, of Palmerton, was cited for retail theft. The violation occurred on Jan. 15 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

Police also issued nine citations for traffic violations, seven for vehicle violations, and four for speeding.
