Man paid for repairs, doesn't have truck
State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a theft by unlawful taking or disposition case.
Police said the suspect is a man from Palmerton.
The victim, a man from Jim Thorpe, told police he brought his truck to Diesel's Garage in Towamensing Township, for transmission work on March 20.
He paid $6,000 up front to cover the costs of parts and labor, and does not have his truck back.
Police said the last time the victim was able to reach the shop was May 31.
