Summit Hill boys face underage drinking
Two Summit Hill teens, ages 18 and 19, are facing charges of underage drinking filed against them by state police at the Lehighton barracks.
Police said the arrests were made at 2:45 a.m. July 3 after they made a traffic stop on Route 209 in Mahoning Township. The young men were passengers in the vehicle and police said they both showed signs and indicators of impairment and being under the influence of alcohol.
They will be required to answer the charges of possession, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or malt or brew beverages in the district court in Jim Thorpe.
