Use of fraudulent cards investigated
The use of suspected fraudulent credit cards to purchase cigarettes at a Bowmanstown store is being investigated by state police at the Lehighton barracks.
Police said the victim is Pappy's Corner Store, 600 White St. The incidents happened between May 1 and June 30.
Police said during that time span, a person has repeatedly entered the store and purchased cartons of cigarettes with suspected fraudulent credit cards.
