Giant recalls Krusteaz mix

Following a recall by Continental Mills, Giant Food Stores LLC announced it has removed from stores Krusteaz Blueberry Pancake Mix that be contaminated with E. coli 0121.

Recalled is Krusteaz Blueberry Pancake Mix, 28 ounce, UPC 4144900128 with Best by Dates of 3/30/2018 through 6/16/2018

Although most strains of E. coli are harmless, others can make you sick. E. coli O121 is a potentially deadly bacterium that can cause bloody diarrhea and dehydration. Seniors, the very young, and people with compromised immune systems are the most susceptible to foodborne illness.

Customers who purchased this should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to GIANT/MARTIN'S for a full refund.
