State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers on Monroe County roads.

A one-vehicle crash occurred at 8:57 a.m. on June 15 along Sherwood Forest Road in Jackson Township. Renisha C. Conway, 29, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier westbound when she over compensated a curve and lost control.

The car went into the opposite lane of travel and then onto the berm where it struck a tree. Conway was not injured. She was cited for the crash.

A one-vehicle crash was reported at 10:05 a.m. on June 15 along Sugar Hollow Road in Chestnuthill Township. Thelma M. Holness, 72, of Effort, was driving a 2002 Mazda Tribute westbound when she lost control of the vehicle.

The car left the road and traveled through a yard and then struck a small tree. Holness was not injured but the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Troopers investigated a two-vehicle crash at 4:45 p.m. on June 19 along Route 209 near Weir Lake Road in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Noreen O. Koch, 40, of Brodheadsville, was northbound and became distracted.

As a result, troopers said, while turning into the West End Plaza she failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle operated by Brittany A. Johnson, 27, of Gilbert, causing a collision.

Johnson's 2012 Jeep Cherokee sustained disabling front-end damage while Koch's 2006 Subaru Legacy sustained moderate front end damage. The Subaru had to be towed from the scene.

Koch, Johnson and her passenger, Zachary Ford, 18, of Stroudsburg, were all not injured. Koch was cited for the crash, troopers added.
