Lehighton man cited for road obstruction
A Lehighton man has been cited for obstructing a Carbon County roadway.
State police at Lehighton allege that Eric David Beers, 46, intentionally obstructed Walnut Street, just east of the intersection with Indian Hill Road in Franklin Township, by placing his two vehicles across the road waiting for a 38-year-old man from Lehighton to return to his residence. The incident occurred at 4:55 p.m. Friday.
As a result Beers was issued summary citations for obstructing highways and other public passages and harassment.
