Schuylkill business cited by liquor board

Published July 14. 2016 11:58AM

A Schuylkill County business has been cited by the Allentown enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

My Brother's Beer Barn Inc., Route 309, Rush Township, was cited on May 10 and 11 for failing to constantly and conspicuously expose its malt beverage distributor license under a transparent substance on the licensed premises. Also, on April 7 the business delivered beverages in a vehicle not properly lettered.

These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension of revocation based on the severity of the charge.
