Theft incident at theaters investigated

State police at Frackville are investigating a reported theft incident at the Schuylkill Mall Theaters in the Schuylkill Mall in New Castle Township.

Troopers said the manager of the theaters was counting the daily register deposit and noticed that $940 was missing. The incident time frame is 5 p.m. July 12 and 7 p.m. July 13. Troopers said the incident is still under investigation.
