Burglar flees home after Monroe break-in

State police at Lehighton reported a burglar inside a vacant residence in Monroe County ran away on June 2 after the property owner found him there.

The incident happened at 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Floyd Drive in Kresgeville. The victim is a 57-year-old woman.

Police said when the woman confronted the burglar he raced from the residence. The man is described as being a white male with a full beard. He was wearing a dark shirt and dark pants and was wearing a dark hat.
