Tamaqua man cited following incident

Tamaqua police cited Kevin Kyle Kaufman, 24, of 244 Cedar St., Tamaqua, after a disturbance on May 26.

Officers were sent to Kaufman's home at 7:58 p.m. and were met by his ex-girlfriend, who was there to pick up some of her belongings. She said Kaufman became upset and began throwing pots and pans at her, striking her in the leg. There was an abrasion on her left leg and a scratch on her knee.

He was cited for harassment and she was advised to have a constable go with her if she needed to retrieve more items.
