Weapons pulled in neighbor dispute

A disagreement over yard work resulted in citations for two Tamaqua men on May 10.

Police responded to 254 Cedar St. at 9:19 p.m. to deal with an argument between neighbors.

Anthony Carlino Sr., 56, of 252 Cedar St., and Brady Stefan, 22, of 254 Cedar St., both agreed that Stefan was trimming a tree in the yard with the landlord's permission. The disagreement was over Stefan's moving Carlino's things around the yard.

Carlino said Stefan came at him with a knife while Stefan said Carlino came at him with a machete.

Both men were charged with harassment.
