L. Towamensing man faces DUI

A 47-year-old Lower Towamensing Township man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol for an incident that happened at 8:36 p.m. Tuesday at a Blue Mountain View location in the township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said they were called to investigate a disturbance at the above location, where they found a driver showing signs of impairment.

Police said he was placed into custody for suspicion of DUI and charges will be filed pending a blood analysis.
