Speak to nurse at Heritage Hill

Caregivers are invited for Night with the Nurses at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Hill Senior Community, 800 Sixth St., Weatherly.

Presenting this month is Shannon DeWit, hospice registered nurse and case manager from Ascend Hospice. She will speak about “Caring for the Future: Uncovering the Myths Surrounding Hospice Care.”

This gathering gives attendees a chance to interact with each other, discuss problems, get tips, and learn from each other, and from nursing professionals, on how they can better care for senior parents or family members.

Light refreshments will be served for those attending.
