Traffic stop leads to DUI arrest

State police at the Lehighton barracks said a traffic stop made at 8 p.m. Thursday on Route 248, across from the Riverwalck bar in Parryville, resulted in a 38-year-old Schnecksville man being arrested for driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police did not reveal the name of the driver but said he was transported to the Palmerton Hospital for a blood test.
