Homeowner scares off would-be burglar
A Schuylkill County homeowner scared off a would-be burglar on Friday.
State police at Frackville said the incident occurred at a residence along Center Street in the village of Sheppton, East Union Township, at 9:30 a.m.
Troopers said the burglar was attempting to gain entry through a back door at the home when the homeowner appeared at the door and the suspect fled.
