Cheerleading Spirit Camp in Jim Thorpe

Jim Thorpe Area School District is hosting a cheerleading spirit camp from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 1 in the high school gymnasium.

The camp is for girls entering fifth through eighth grades who live in Jim Thorpe Area School District. The one-day clinic will teach basic cheerleading skills.

The cost is $35 per person which includes lunch, a T-shirt, awards and instruction. Parents are encouraged to attend the pep rally at 4 p.m. to see what their girls have learned.
