Owner of barking dog is cited
A Tamaqua woman who left a dog outside in a crate was cited after neighbors complained about excessive barking.
According to Tamaqua police, officers were dispatched to 115 Catawissa St. at 7 p.m. June 15 for reports of a dog barking, crying and howling.
Officers found a dog secured in a crate on the back porch and said nobody was at home.
Neighbors said the dog had been outdoors crying, barking and howling since at least 11:30 a.m.
As a result, owner Deborah Mundo received a summons for allowing the disturbance.
