Wanted man found at crash scene

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Saturday at 10:57 a.m. In addition to finding a vehicle in a ditch, officers also found a man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Police said they responded to Waterfront Drive in A Pocono Country Place in Tobyhanna and found a vehicle in a ditch. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Nadia St. Martin. The passenger was the vehicle's owner Mark Pruitt, 22, of Brooke Court, Tobyhanna. Police ran a check on the driver and passenger and learned that Pruitt had an active warrant issued to the sheriff's department in Bucks County for a probation violation. The original charge was auto theft.

Pruitt was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County prison in Snydersville where he was committed pending his return to Bucks County.
