Arrests made at Adult Shop 61

Five arrests were made in three separate incidents at the Adult Shop 61 along Route 61 in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County. All occurred on Saturday.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Jessica Bosworth, 28, and Matthew Madeira, 30, both of Barnesville, were arrested for retail theft following an incident that occurred around 9 p.m. Troopers said the two entered the store and began placing items in Madeira's clothing, then exiting without paying. Total value of the merchandise taken was $220.84.

The second arrest for retail theft occurred at 9:52 p.m. when Carla Wingle, 44, and John Reed Jr., 26, both of Pottsville, entered the shop and removed an item valued at $19.99 without paying for it.

The third arrest for retail theft occurred at 10:19 p.m. Troopers said Rebecca Nugent, 30, of Pottsville, entered the shop and removed various items without paying for them. The value of the items taken was $23.96.
