Crash on I-80 in Monroe investigated

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 6:26 a.m. Saturday along Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Singh Chatinderjit, 39, of Union City, Erie County, was driving a 2012 Peterbilt tractor with trailer eastbound when he lost control. The truck went onto the left shoulder and overturned, coming to rest on its driver's side on an embankment. The left lane of the road was closed for a period of time for cleanup, troopers said.

Chatinderjit was not injured.
