Published March 15. 2016 04:00PM

Two people have been charged as the result of an incident at a Schuylkill County store.

State police at Schuylkill Haven responded to Redner's Warehouse Market, located off Route 61 in North Manheim Township at 5:15 p.m. March 11. On scene troopers learned that Malea Schoffstall, 22, of Minersville, had entered the store and was observed drinking a 20-ounce bottle of soda that she took without paying for. She was stopped by store security.

Schoffstall provided a false name and date of birth to troopers. After providing the correct information, it was learned that Schoffstall had several warrants for her arrest. She was taken into custody on the warrants. She will be charged with retail theft for the incident in the store.

At the scene Heather Heckman, 24, of Pottsville, was in the store but was banned from it following a retail theft incident on Nov. 15, 2015. She was cited for criminal trespass.
