Barking dogs chase away burglar
Barking dogs chased away a would-be burglar in an incident at 3:59 a.m. March 12 in Chestnuthill Township.
State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said the incident happened on the 2200 block of Mountain Laurel Drive.
Police said the thieves opened the rear door of the residence but fled after they heard the dogs barking.
