Man cited for trespassing

Tamaqua police have filed charges against Terry L. Hill, 40, of 123 Pitt St., Tamaqua, in connection with an incident on March 10.

Officers received a call at 1:10 a.m. from a resident of the 700 block of East Broad Street. The resident said he was awakened by someone pounding on his door. He checked and saw Hill on the second floor porch, which is only accessible by climbing a fence.

Hill said he needed help and a gun. The resident refused and Hill left.

While police were speaking with the victim Hill returned to the residence.

He was cited for trespassing.
