Police seek suspects in Rush burglary

Rush Township police are investigating a burglary that was reported at 6:27 p.m. on March 20.

Officers were dispatched to 361 Claremont Ave., Hometown, for a burglary in progress. The caller reported the suspects fled the scene in a black Honda that had a loud exhaust. The car was last seen headed south on Route 309.

The homeowner said he was out and came home at 6:27 p.m. to find a black Honda in his driveway.

When the thieves saw him, three males fled in the car. A fourth suspect left the home through a bedroom window and ran through the woods. The fourth suspect was described as being Hispanic, with a thin build and wearing a gray sweatshirt.
