3 face drug charges after speeding
Three Berks County men were charged in Summit Hill for drugs after their vehicle was stopped for speeding.
According to Summit Hill police, at 2:34 p.m. Feb. 14, officers clocked a vehicle driving 61 mph in a 45 zone along East White Bear Drive.
When police pulled over the car, the officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana.
An investigation revealed that Adam Charles Schneck, 19, of 321 N. Temple Blvd. in Temple, the driver of the vehicle, as well as his two passengers, Nicholas Bedoya Gomez, 18, of 2119 Frush Valley Road in Reading, and Shawn Michael Smith, 28, of 1049 Marion St. in Reading, were all in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Schneck was charged with speeding and possessing a small amount of marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia.
Gomez and Smith were each charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
