Volunteers needed

Retired Senior Volunteer Program is seeking volunteers in the Carbon County Area Agency on Aging PA Ombudsman Program. Volunteers provide visitation and serve as advocates to help make a difference in the lives of residents in county nursing homes, assisted living and personal care facilities.

Volunteers are trained to promote residents' rights and enhance the quality of their lives.

RSVP offers men and women, 55 and older, volunteer opportunities to help with providing services in the Carbon County area, such as activity aide, helping at a homeless shelter, counseling with the Area Agency on Aging Apprise program, American Red Cross disaster programs, blood drives and more.
