Blakeslee man charged after DUI

Craig D. Rampersand, 32, of Blakeslee was charged after an alleged DUI crash that occurred while his license was suspended.

He faces charges of DUI, driving while DUI suspended, and possession of a small amount of marijuana, among other charges.

Police said that on May 4, around 4 a.m. they responded to a one-vehicle crash on Long Pond Road. The vehicle was disabled. Rampersand was found walking nearby. He appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

He was processed and released.
