Summit Hill man charged for DUI
A Summit Hill man faces charges of driving while under the influence of drugs.
According to Summit Hill police, on March 13, police conducted a checkpoint along East White Bear Drive in the borough when they stopped Daniel Drakeford, 36, of 305 E. Ludlow St., Apt. 7.
As officers approached the vehicle, they detected a strong smell of burned marijuana.
Drakeford was asked to step out of the vehicle. He was taken to have his blood drawn for testing, which showed the presence of marijuana in his system.
