Two rigs involved in crash on I-81

Two tractor-trailer rigs were involved in a crash along Interstate 81 in Foster Township, Schuylkill County at 11:40 a.m. on Monday.

Troopers said Brian D Hill, 34, of Broad Brook, Connecticut, driving a 2016 International Harvester Prostar was attempting to pass a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia driven by Jonathan F. Chauncy, 50, of Asheville, North Carolina, when the right rear of Hill's trailer made contact with the left side mirror on Chauncy's tractor.

There were no injuries. Hill was cited for the crash.
