Schuylkill man jailed for violating PFA
A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Tuesday for violating a protection from abuse order.
State police at Frackville responded to 307 Royer St., New Ringgold, at 11:34 a.m. for a reported PFA violation. On scene troopers found Nathan Karl Fisher, 29, of New Ringgold, at the residence of his mother, knowing that he was not permitted to be there because of the PFA.
Fisher was arraigned before District Judge James Ferrier of Orwigsburg, on a charge of indirect criminal contempt and committed to the county prison after failing to post $10,000 bail.
