Tamaqua man cited for disorderly conduct
A Tamaqua man was cited following a domestic disturbance in the borough on May 5.
Tamaqua Police were dispatched to the Clay and Nescopec streets area for a loud domestic disturbance in progress. On scene, they found Pedro Juan Vega Rodriguez, 27, of 131 Clay St. arguing loudly with his girlfriend. He had blood on his hands and wrists. She had cuts on her hands, but told officers she fell.
Rodriguez refused to go inside the home, indicating he wanted to be placed in the police cruiser. His wish was granted and he was transported to the police station and lodged in a cell.
He was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
