Camera system helps identify two fighters

The Tamaqua Police Department's security camera system came in handy on May 17 after police received a report of two teenage boys fighting at the skate park on East Spruce Street at 8:18 p.m.

With a click of the mouse, an officer was able to view the scene in real time. The two teens, a 16-year-old from Mary D and a 16-year-old from Walker Township, were taken to the police station and later released to family members.

Both were cited for disorderly conduct.
