Lehigh teen cited

A 17-year-old woman from Allentown was cited in Tamaqua after her employer, Frontier Utilities, had her going door to door soliciting electricity service without a permit.

The teen told police her manager had the required permit but when officers contacted him, he admitted to not applying for a permit.

She was cited for soliciting without a permit and the company was warned to cease and desist.
