St. Luke's hosting Diabetes Day

St. Luke's Miners Diabetes Education Center is hosting the first of what will be the Annual Diabetes Day from 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 12 at the Tamaqua YMCA.

Shelley Sassaman will be the guest speaker. There will also be a cooking demonstration with taste testing.

Seating is limited, so reservations are required. To make a reservation, or for more information, call 570-645-8107 by Nov. 7.

The YMCA is located in the former Jamesway Shopping Plaza, 1201 E. Broad St., Tamaqua.
