LCCC to hold religious panel discussion

Lehigh Carbon Community College's Diversity Committee will host a panel discussion entitled "What Do People Believe? An Introduction to World Religions" at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Lisa Scheller-Wayne Woodman Community Services Center, Room 201, main campus in Schnecksville.

The panelists feature the following religious leaders, who represent a variety of faiths. To date, panelists include:

• Peter Pettit, Ph.D., associate professor of religion and director of the Institute for Jewish-Christian Understanding at Muhlenberg College

• Rabbi Michael Singer, Congregation Brith Sholom, Bethlehem

• James West, Moravian College, representing the Baha'i faith

• Rabbi Melody Davis, Temple Covenant of Peace, Easton
