Hit-and-run crash under investigation

A hit-and-run crash that happened at 6:05 p.m. Nov. 4 at Spruce Hollow Road and Stagecoach Road East, Towamensing Township, is being investigated by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

Police said Michael Christopher Liberto of Bethlehem was driving a 2000 Ford Focus that crashed, after which time the operator left the scene.

Police said the investigation remains open.

The Towamensing Township Fire Company and Tittle's Towing assisted them at the scene.
