Equipment from vehicles stolen in Chestnuthill

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating the theft of various equipment taken from property at the Chestnuthill Township building, 271 Route 715, Brodheadsville.

The incident happened at approximately 2:33 a.m. Nov. 4 when an unknown male entered township property and removed three truck batteries, a trailer cord, paver ignition switch and battery terminals before leaving the scene at approximately 5:30 a.m.

Police said the stolen property was recovered in the nearby wooded areas.
