Credit card thefts investigated

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating two cases of credit card theft.

A Stroudsburg mantold police someone used his credit card numbers to make unauthorized purchases sometime between 3 p.m. Sept. 24 and 3 p.m. Sept. 25 when someone charged $1,200.54 in merchandise to his account.

An Albrightsville womantold police someone obtained her credit card information and illegally used it between 3 and 9 p.m. Oct. 20 to purchase several items from Foot Locker online. The purchases totaled $117.97.
