Lashing out at Pence

I have a question for Brandon Victor Dixon, cast member of the musical "Hamilton," who felt the need to call out attendee Vice President-elect Mike Pence by saying the new administration "should work on behalf of all of us, the diverse America."

Did you express the same concern to outgoing President Barack Obama, who after eight years in office has produced the following statistics for the African-American community exclusively: food stamp participation up 58 percent, over 8 percent increase in poverty, 20 percent increase of African-Americans not in the labor force, homeownership down 4.6 percent and median household income down by $2,400 a year.

Was diverse America well-served by President Barack Obama during his two terms in the White House?
