Two Monroe break-ins investigated

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating two burglaries in Monroe County.

A break-in occurred ata Countryside Drive residence in Chestnuthill Township. Entry was gained sometime between Oct. 21 and 24.

Items removed were a 32-inch television, DeWalt chop saw, circular saw and cordless drill along with three cuckoo clocks, a steeple clock, a doorbell, silverware set and two table lamps. The property is owned bya Nazareth man.

The second burglary occurred ata Twin Pines Camp Road residence in Jackson Township. Entry was gained sometime between Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 29 at 8 p.m. A garage door was forcibly opened. Power tools and a red and white 1989 Yamaha XT 350 motorcycle were taken.

The property is owned bya Stroudsburg man.
