Couple wed 50 years
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kovach
Richard and Anne Brida Kovach are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Oct. 1, 1966, at St. Jerome's Church in Tamaqua.
They have raised their family and resided in Bethlehem their entire married life.
The couple has two daughters: Carolyn Kovach Neri, wife of Dr. Anthony R. Neri of Woodstock, Virginia, and Elissa Anne Kovach of Bethlehem. They are also the proud grandparents of Jonathan, Jordan, Bethany and Jonah Neri.
Anne is the daughter of the late Victor and recently deceased Helen Brida, who passed away March 4 at 101 years of age, of Hometown. Mr. Kovach is the son of the late John and Stefania (Steffie) Kovach of Lansford.
Dick and Anne have been loyal New York Yankee and Giants fans throughout their marriage.
The couple will be celebrating their anniversary week with family and friends in Cape May, New Jersey.
